ICCR Kidney datasets

Commentaarfase

We are writing to invite the Dutch Society of Pathology Dutch Association of Pathology to review the following draft 2nd edition International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting (ICCR) Kidney datasets:

  • Renal Biopsy for Tumour
  • Renal Epithelial Neoplasms

The ICCR has been formed to develop common, internationally standardised and evidence-based cancer datasets for surgical pathology specimens. Using the best international approaches, and leveraging the knowledge and experience of world-leading pathologists, the ICCR aims to ensure that all cancer reports, will be of the same high quality; ensuring completeness, consistency, clarity, conciseness and above all, clinical utility. The ICCR has published 62 cancer datasets to date which are available at: http://www.iccr-cancer.org/datasets.

The draft datasets are available for comment until Monday 16th December 2024 at: https://www.iccr-cancer.org/datasets/datasets-under-consultation/. To provide feedback please email any comments together with your name and country to datasets@iccr-cancer.org.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could disseminate this notification to any other interested parties.

These datasets have been kindly sponsored by the International Society of Urological Pathology (ISUP).

We anticipate these ICCR Kidney datasets will be published in the first quarter of 2025.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at ginagreen@iccr-cancer.org.
